Safeguarding Conditions for under 18's

All applicants under the age of 18 must complete a Junior Application Form AND the applicant’s parent(s) / guardian(s) must complete the consent part of the form (the link to the application form is at the bottom of this page). Junior members are permitted to fish all TVA waters subject to our safeguarding conditions below. These conditions apply to all new members and all existing members under the age of 18.    ​

Safeguarding conditions for under 16’s
  • Day fishing (dawn till dusk) under 16's must always be accompanied by a parent / guardian. 
  • Night fishing (dusk till dawn) is strictly at the discretion of TVA. For enquiries, please use the Contact Page or email [email protected]. If the parent / guardian wants to fish as well, they must be a TVA member.  
  • All other rules and conditions of membership apply.   

Safeguarding conditions for 16 & 17 year old’s
  • Day fishing (dawn till dusk) is permitted without being accompanied by a parent / guardian. 
  • Night fishing (dusk till dawn) is strictly at the discretion of TVA. If you are not accompanied by a parent / guardian, you must request permission from TVA at least 48 hours before arriving / fishing. Please contact us here Contact Page or email [email protected]. If the parent / guardian wants to fish as well, they must be a TVA member.
  • All other rules and conditions of membership apply. 

Gate codes are not automatically issued to junior members (under 18’s). Should you and / or your parent / guardian require vehicle access, please contact us before planning your fishing trip. Issuing codes is strictly at the discretion of TVA.
 
When renewing a junior membership, please reapply within 6 months of your 16th birthday using the Renewing Junior Member Application Form - if you don’t, you will need to pay the £25 ‘new members / lapsed members’ admin fee.
