Trent Valley Angling is managed by the Holme Pit Action Group. We are a "not for profit" group of volunteers with a passion for angling, wildlife and the Trent Valley. Holme Pit water quality improvements. As part of the "Thriving in a Wilder Trent" project (https://www.nottinghamshirewildlife.org/wilder-trent), a weed boat will be on the pond Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th and Thursday 16th October. The pond will be closed during the work and will remain closed until the water / sediments clear (usually 24 - 48hrs). Before planning a fishing trip, please Contacta bailiff / committee member.
Dunkirk Pond (13.10.2025), dissolved oxygen levels. The pond has reopened. Please give the fish extra time to recover before returning them to the water, Any issues, please contact Contact a bailiff / committee member.
