Trent Valley Angling (TVA) is managed by the Holme Pit Action Group. We are a "not for profit" group of local volunteers with a passion for angling, wildlife and the Trent Valley. We offer membership to fish at Clifton and Barton in Fabis, South Nottinghamshire. Our core aim is to respect the environment and the land we fish on and to promote good fishing practice. We are a member of the Angling Trust (www.anglingtrust.net) and The Conservation Volunteers (www.tcv.org.uk).

To manage the filamentous algae at Holme Pit we will be spraying "Excalibur" (a liquid produced from barley straw) into the water by boat from spring until autumn. This takes place every other Sunday - it doesn't affect the fish or the fishing but you will have to bring your rods in for a couple of hours.
